  15. DESCRIPTION
  16.      Reads a portable anymap as input.   Performs  gamma  correc-
  17.      tion, and produces a portable anymap as output.
  18.  
  19.      The arguments specify what gamma value(s) to use.   A  value
  20.      of 1.0 leaves the image alone, less than one darkens it, and
  21.      greater than one lightens it.

  23.      All flags can be abbreviated to their shortest  unique  pre-
  24.      fix.
